10 Butt Kicking Lessons I Have Learned About Taking Risks And Trusting The Process That Will Skyrocket Your Results In Life/Business.

There are tons of different kinds of pains, and since we can choose some of them choose the pain that will bring the biggest reward in the long run. 

Let’s say you want to get the physique of your dreams, what’s the best way to do it? Lift weights! Only cardio is a waste of time. 

Life/Business is the same, I could work 10 hours at 12£ an hour or I can take my steel balls and make shit happen!

The other pain is facing my fear of rejection, failure, mistakes, not being good enough and being too crazy, too risky, falling and loosing. 

My choice? Better face the fears because my life is too precious to be wasted! 

I am writing on the bus to a bodybuilding show, I feel my heart racing because I am making quick and fast decisions towards achieving my goals, being fearless and testing my beliefs, putting pressure on myself, my back against the wall, and I like the feeling, I feel alive, in control.

Last week I was speaking at a meetup and one of the ladies helps women find confidence and empower themselves, she has a full time job and then the side business, she is ready but she is holding back…how do I expect to tell anybody to kick their own ass if I am in the same boat? 

Reality check test: to be able to fly I have to jump as many times as I need to in order to break free. 

What I have learned about taking risks and trusting the process: 

  1. We forget easy and quick how strong and brave we are.
  2. We look for comfort and we loose our power when settling.
  3. It’s so easy to give up on our fight, when the odds are “against” us it’s so easy to play the victim. 
  4. The only way to break through the chains of life is by practicing our talk. 
  5. We assume that we have to suffer instead of understanding that it’s through pain that we grow. 
  6. Struggle is only struggle if you are chained to average thinking, this is a game. Play! 
  7. I forget that I am the creator not a character in the movie. 
  8. I must be disciplined every single day and remember the truth of who I am. 
  9. My dreams, my life, my goals are the main priority.
  10. Nothing can stop me!

  • Who do I need to become in order for me to succeed?
  • What do I need to learn for me to become the person that I want to be?
  • What’s keeping me so busy that I am being less productive than I would like to be?
  • Who do I need to reach out in order for me to complete my goals?
  • What are my strengths?
  • What are my weaknesses?
  • How can I focus on my strenghts and build them even stronger?
  • Am I doing what I said I would do when I was overly excited or have I slipped off because I have discovered that it’s a bit harder than expected?
  • Am I procrastinating or am I recovering and resting because my body and mind need a break?
  • Am I honest with my results or could I do more and better?
  • What are the tools that I have at hand for me to succeed?
  • What else could I be doing to get where I want to get faster?
  • What’s my plan?

  • How can I measure my success?
  • How strong do I hit back after failure?
  • How can I make sure I am focused on my goals and shut down distractions?
  • How do I silence the noise of the world?
  • Where do I want to be 6 months from now?
  • What’s the greatest vision that I have for my life? 
  • Am I taking steps towards making that vision a reality or am I daydreaming and wishful thinking?
  • What are the habits that I need to implement, change or adopt for me to become who I dream to become?
  • Who am I?

After asking yourself this questions and with a clearer view of where you stand you can then apply these 5 simple tips to become fearless and attack life with fierceness: 

  1. Have a clear vision – it will evolve and grow with you, what’s in store for YOU is much more than you can posibly imagine 😉 Believe! 
  2. Focus on what works and repeat over and over again – mastery is a habit, consistency is key. (Don’t confuse this with beating yourself up, choose wisely the pain you will endure, success will take it all from you, choose what makes your soul sing and give it your all!)
  3. Be resilient: do the hard things first thing in the morning – meditate and train hard.
  4. Have a can do attitude – your mindset determines the quality of your results.
  5. Plan and follow through with some steel balls – jump and the net will appear!

Being A Star In Your Industry Is A Matter Of 5 SIMPLE RULES FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION.

A few days ago I was at an event and someone mentioned that my profile picture on LinkedIn was in a rape field. Straight away my mind took the word rape and even though I didn’t understood what he mean neither did I knew the meaning of the word in this specific context, I continued the conversation avoiding the lightbulb that had popped in my head. 

The other person, we were 3 people chatting, said: you know the rules of effective communication? 

And she told us a story, the story of a boy that’s traveling with her mum and driving by a field he screams: look, mum, rape! 

The mum freaks out and starts looking in her mind for the most appropriate way of explaining the meaning of rape to a kid. 

She smiles and starts explaining with care when the boy with a front in his face says: yeah mum but what’s the name of those yellow bright flowers in the field? 

Moral of the story? When you don’t understand something ask: what do you mean by…? Whatever that is.

In this case the word rape has so much heaviness around it that automatically out of some kind of fear I didn’t ask what did he meant by it. 

Massive lesson: it’s better to sound silly by asking a question than being left in doubt. And the truth is that if you want to learn you must be willing to fail. There are no small questions, only the ones you don’t ask. 

Like in the gym, the only bad workout is the one you didn’t do 😉 

Apart from asking questions there are few other things that cloud our mind, block our ability to communicate and our potential of growth.

  1. Ask questions when you don’t know something. It’s better than being left with a doubt. 
  2. Stop gossiping. Know that who you gossip with will gossip about you as well. 
  3. Listen with all your senses. Be present, opportunities sometimes knock very softly. 
  4. Be honest and authentic in your mindset. 
  5. Choose peace over being right. Respect and love yourself enough to smile and walk away 😉

How To Turn Your Fears Into Fuel and Go From Zero to Hero in 5 Steps.

Life is about growing your mind and your lifestyle, if you look for comfort chances are you aren’t going to fulfil your potential. If you are able to let go of your comfort and embrace uncertainty, get high building strength in front of adversity, if you are hungry and willing to learn and be helped and guided, then you will feel the fear of the unknown and yet, live the journey to success with much ease. 

Silence the noise of the world, shut down the naysayers, kick life hard when it knocks you down, be reborn, understand who you are and understand that the chains of life are merely illusions.

When I decided to go full on with my coaching business I had no idea of what I was going into, admin work, accounts, taxes, bills, organising my money, getting rid of unhealthy habits that could spread like fire, it’s more about inner work and taking ownership of my behaviour than systems and procedures.

Business in the end is a way for us to accomplish our dreams, is a tool to help us achieve our goals and make an impact. 

Our business is connected to our personal brand that’s our personal core. 

Your business reflects who you are but it’s not you. 

To be successful you have to kill ego, you have to let go of the character and be bold to get what you want.

Starting a business, scaling an existing one, anything that pushes you out of your comfort zone will push your buttons and bring to the surface actions that you kept buried in the subconscious until you work on them. 

In order to go from zero to great you will have to face your deepest fears and procrastination.

How? 

Meditate. 

Seriously. It’s the best way to embrace who you are. 

And then: 

  • Acknowledge that you are scared, admit it and take ownership of your fears. 
  • Understand that fears aren’t real, they are product of your monkey mind, past beliefs and your choices.
  • Make a choice, seeing them as opportunities to rise or staying where you are dormant to your true potential.
  • Take action, one day at a time, with action you build up confidence and the better your results the more fearless you become. 
  • Every time you feel the fear reframe it, if you aren’t feeling uncomfortable you aren’t growing, feel the excitement, you are about to breakthrough!

YOU are always in control.

YOU can always make a choice. 

YOU can always choose how YOU act.

If YOU feel like you are moving in circles, take a step back and adjust, review the plan, change. 

YOU are the creator. 

Your game, your choices, your rules!

5 Truths No One Will Tell You But You Need To Hear About Living With Courage.

Last year I bought all of Brené Brown‘s books after watching her TedTalk on vulnerability and immersed myself in her world of wisdom. While a lot of the things she writes are incredibly inspiring others seemed to me a bit cheesy and repetitive. A once and enough read in my opinion.

The best thing that I took from her books was that haters will hate but she fights them back saying: “If you’re not in the arena getting your butt kicked too, I’m not interested in your feedback.” I completely agree and I feel the freedom to express my opinion because yes, my ass is getting kicked in the arena.

Number 1:

Daring greatly seems a bit daunting when you come from a place of living following the rules of the status quo, years of conditioning aren’t erased in a night and it takes a ton of will power and hunger to actually make bigger changes, faster, for the long term.

Number 2:

Living with courage is scarry and risky, you will fall, you will get hurt, you will cry, you will rise and you will fly. Why? Because to find your courage you have to dig deeper, deal with your issues, let go of the past and become who you decide to be. You always have tools at hand though if you are willing to pursue the journey of a lifetime! Courage opens the doors to opportunity!

Number 3: 

You will have to shred people like dead skin, leave friends and family if needed behind, your identity, your belongings, whatever it is that can hold you back and stop you from your growth. You will have to let go of the attachment of what once was and what you thought could be to truly pursue what you desire.

Number 4: 

What happens when you don’t know what you want? you may ask. Well, then you find the courage to keep trying things and learning from every experience until something clicks and you choose to go all in, until then, try every single thing that calls your attention and be brave to not give af* about what could happen if something goes wrong, adventures start with a relentless fire and are written along the way!

Number 5: 

Every single scar will have a story, one day everything will make sense and it will be ok. Everything in your life has been placed there for you to grow, it’s up to you to take on the challenge of the epic story of the life you can create. On the other side of all the pain, sweat, blood and tears will emerge your true self, strong, wild and fierce! IF YOU DARE!

How To Hustle Effectively and not Die Trying in 5 steps.

Ooops, let me rephrase that 😉 You have to be willing to die for your dreams otherwise you aren’t hustling. 

I hear everybody saying “hustling in the city”, well, hustlers don’t party when they have goals to conquer, hustlers only sleep if they are training like a beast in the gym, hustlers dream big and hustlers don’t settle.

7 great exercises to help YOU increase Your mental toughness.

Mental toughness…I love this topic! Some of you may ask, why do I want to be mentally tough, that’s something for athletes or high achieving individuals, CEOs or prime ministers? Well, let me tell you something, mental toughness should be a mandatory thing to learn and grow and it should be taught in school.

You must develop it if you want to reach your fullest potential.

When people complain about not having time to workout while eating a triple Mc’n Cheese let me tell you something, is not that they don’t have time is that they are mentally lazy to admit that they could do better and they just hide behind the excuse of not having time.

Everything in this life is habit and beliefs, and like everything in this life you can change and improve it.

Mental toughness builds up inner strength, self confidence and self awareness. It takes guts and it takes you to look inside and acknowledge the excuses, stop blaming the external and whatever trauma you went through and it builds up with every hard thing you are able to commit to and follow through.

Mental toughness is waking up earlier to train because you are done with having a % or body fat that’s unhealthy, mental toughness is sitting down still and meditating every single day, mental toughness it’s instead of complaining about anything finding a solution to it, mental toughness is making choices that will sky rocket your life.

And you can be a waiter, a CEO, an athlete, an entrepreneur, an artist, a model, a hostess, a writer, a freelancer, you can have any work in this world and benefit from mental toughness.

Mentally tough people don’t snap, don’t allow toxic behaviours or people in their lives, mentally tough people make decisions for themselves and assess their own flaws, mentally tough people seek respect not attention and mentally tough people WIN!

How do you get mentally tough in a world where instant pleasure is served daily and we are surrounded by distractions continuously? 

You can build up the strength by doing exercises like the 7 I will be sharing with you.

Start today, do them during 4 weeks and once they become a habit stick to them and level up the effort and challenge yourself, continue GROWING!

  1. Shut down the noise: whatever it’s happening outside of you doesn’t matter. Deliver to the best of your ability when under pressure or when something happens that could unbalance your emotions.
  2. Master your self talk: maintain a powerful mindset, know that what matters is how you respond not what actually happens in your life. You are in control of your own motivation.
  3. Embrace change: the more you flow with the constant of change, the more adaptable you are the better you will take things. Remember, is not about you! Is for you!
  4. Stay focused: when you have a long term goal you will face inevitable challenges, tests and setbacks. Keep your focus on the big picture and remember why you started!
  5. Self serving: do it for your own happiness, do it to please your own personal hunger, do it for you!
  6. Stay positive: keep your circle small, don’t listen to naysayers, use the haters to fuel you and keep going!
  7. NEVER EVER GIVE UP!  Continue moving forward no matter what! That’s KEY!
