the monster of self doubt

“the monster is real, flesh and bones, comes in many shapes, many forms, sometimes it comes in boxes you didn’t think he could enter into, sometimes in the shadow, sometimes in broad daylight, he has no shame, he doesn’t even care about who else is in the room, he is hungry, he feeds himself on doubts, fears, memories, he feeds his brains with other people’s brains and is growing, he is gigantic now, not because he is my monster but because he is taking over the world.”
